Transportation, Catering, and Lodging

The Duke in DC office is located in the heart of downtown with easy access to hotels, restaurants, public transportation and parking. We want your event in our nation’s capital to go as smoothly as possible. In that spirit, the following is a collection of trip and event planning logistical resources.

Parking Information:

The nearest parking garage is operated by PMI Parking and is located at 1201 E St, NW.

Metered spots are also available on the 12th street side of the building. 

Closest Metro Stations:

Metro Center services the Orange, Blue, Silver, and Red Lines

Take the exit on 12th and F street.  From there, head south toward the national mall. The White House will be on your right-hand side several blocks over. Our office building is on 1201 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 500.

Federal Triangle services the Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines

Once there, take the escalator to 12th street and turn left (North). Cross Pennsylvania Ave. and turn left again to access our entrance at 1201.

Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter services the Green and Yellow Lines

Exit the metro station and walk NW with Pennsylvania Ave on your left and the memorial on your right. Cross over 12th street and turn right to access our entrance at 1201 Pennsylvania.

Below are some of our preferred catering companies. If you would like to use a vendor not on this list, please contact Sarah Supsiri and ask the vendor to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for use of the loading dock.

Boxed lunches

Corporate

A slight step up; breakfast, lunch, and dinner – boxed lunches, platters, or buffets; can offer bar service if requested; good for cheese and wine receptions

Formal

Do large scale corporate events and wedding receptions; highly  professional, can offer bar service

NOTE: Duke in DC does have space to both serve food and set up a bar at the same time. We do not have any linens or tablecloths.
